7.2.5 LAN IP Alias Screen
Use this screen to add subnets on the LAN port. You can also control what routing information
is sent and received by each subnet. To access this screen, click
Network > LAN > IP Alias
.

Select this to add the specified subnet to the LAN port.
IP Address
Enter the IP address of the ZyXEL Device on the subnet.
IP Subnet Mask
Enter the subnet mask of the subnet.
RIP Direction
Use this field to control how much routing information the ZyXEL Device sends
and receives on the subnet.
None
- The ZyXEL Device does not send or receive routing information on the
subnet.
Both
- The ZyXEL Device sends and receives routing information on the subnet.
In Only
- The ZyXEL Device only receives routing information on the subnet.
Out Only
- The ZyXEL Device only sends routing information on the subnet.
RIP Version
Select which version of RIP the ZyXEL Device uses when it sends or receives
information on the subnet.
RIP-1
- The ZyXEL Device uses RIPv1 to exchange routing information.
RIP-2B
- The ZyXEL Device broadcasts RIPv2 to exchange routing information.
RIP-2M
- The ZyXEL Device multicasts RIPv2 to exchange routing information.
IP Alias 2
IP Alias 2
Select this to add the specified subnet to the LAN port.
IP Address
Enter the IP address of the ZyXEL Device on the subnet.
IP Subnet Mask
Enter the subnet mask of the subnet.
