LABEL
DESCRIPTION
Frequency
This field displays the radio frequency of the current WiMAX
wireless connection.
Bandwidth
This field displays the size of the bandwidth step the MAX-
506 uses to connect to a base station in megahertz (MHz).
Signal Strength
If you are connected to a WiMAX network this field will
display the Received Signal Strength Indication (RSSI). This
value is a measurement of overall radio signal strength. A
higher RSSI level indicates a stronger signal, and a lower
RSSI level indicates a weaker signal.
Note: A strong signal does not neccessarily indicate a
good signal: a strong signal may have a low
signal-to-noise ratio (SNR).
Signal Quality
This field shows the average Carrier to Interference plus
Noise Ratio (CINR) of the current connection. This value is
an indication of overall radio signal quality. A higher value
indicates a higher signal quality, and a lower value indicates
a lower signal quality.
Packets Sent
This field displays how many packets have been sent from
the MAX-506 since the utility was started.
Bytes Sent
This field displays how many bytes have been sent from the
MAX-506 since the utility was started.

This field displays how many packets have been received by
the MAX-506 since the utility was started.
