Port Rate Limit and Storm
Control
This chapter shows you how you can manage bandwidth on each port and set up broadcast
storm control settings using the
Port Rate and Storm Control screens.
12.1 Port Rate Screen
Rate control means defining a maximum allowable bandwidth for incoming and/or out-going
traffic flows on a port. Click
Rate > Port Rate in the navigation panel to bring up the screen
as shown next.

Port This field displays the port number. Click on an individual port number to configure rate
limits on that port.
