PAIN RELIEF & EDEMA REDUCTION

ELECTRODE PLACEMENT
When applying electrodes in the operating room, sterile electrodes must be used and
placed away from incisions as shown below. Electrodes applied outside the operating
room do not need to be sterile and should be placed around the bandaged area in the
pattern shown below.
Electrodes should surround the targeted treatment site with
area of pain located in the center of the electrode area.
