4 Operating the hand blender
4.1 Attaching the blender attachment
1. Make sure the power plug is unplugged from
the socket.
2. Plug the drive unit and blender attachment
together (Fig. 3/1).
NOTE:
When plugging the drive unit and blender
attachment together, twist them until both parts
are flush with each other.
3. Twist the drive unit and blender attachment into
each other until the blender attachment audibly
clicks into place (Fig. 3/2).

The hand blender is ready for use.
4.2 Operating the hand blender
1. Prepare a working container with the desired
contents. Chop up solid ingredients (e.g.
apples) before placing them in the working
container.
2. Make sure that the blender attachment has
clicked into place.
3. Plug the power plug into the socket.
4. Hold the hand blender upright in the working
container you have prepared. (Fig. 4).
Make sure that the blade head is completely
immersed (Fig. 4/1), but that the gap between
the blender attachment and the drive unit re-
mains a few centimetres above the liquid
(Fig. 4/2).
Hold the working container with your other
hand.
5. Press speed button [L] (Fig. 5/1) or [H]
(Fig. 5/2) for the desired blade speed.
