Before first use
3.1 Unpacking
1. Remove all packaging materials before first use.
2. Dispose of the packaging material in an environmentally sound manner or keep
it for subsequent storage of your hand blender.
3. Check that the delivery is complete (cf. packaging and Fig. 1 “Hand blender in
detail”) and intact.
NOTE:
Do not operate the hand blender if there are missing or damaged parts. Contact
the dealer from whom you purchased the hand blender immediately or customer
service (see 5.2 “Customer service”).
4. Uncoil the power cable fully.
3.2 Cleaning the blender attachment
WARNING!
Risk of injury and property damage due to incor-
rect cleaning:
Never completely immerse the blender at-
tachment in water or other liquids. This is to
prevent water from penetrating the upper part
(Fig. 2).
In the event that water has penetrated the
blender attachment, let the attachment dry
thoroughly and only use it again if it is com-
pletely dry.
Do not use any hard cleaning utensils, such as
steel wool, or any sharp or corrosive cleaning
agents to clean the appliance.
Do not touch the blades. (Fig. 2).
1. Clean the blender attachment with detergent
and hot water.
2. Dry the blender attachment and make sure that
you have removed all detergent residues as the
blender attachment is intended for contact with
food.
