The quick guide assumes an
optical digital audio
connection
from your TV to the ZVOX speaker.
If your TV does not have an optical connector, you can also
connect the ZVOX speaker using an analog signal cable (also
supplied). See instructions later in this manual.
Quick Setup Guide
Connect The Power Cord
To The ZVOX speaker
First connect the power cord to the power
jack on the back of the ZVOX speaker.
Then
connect the AC plug into an AC power
receptacle.
The speaker turns on when first connected
to AC power. Once setup is complete, you
can rely on the automatic sleep/automatic
turn-on feature built into the SB380. Press-
ing a volume button on the remote control
also turns it on if it’s in sleep mode.
Place The ZVOX Speaker
You can place the ZVOX speaker anywhere in
front of your TV. It can also be placed on any
level surface near the TV – above, below or to
the left or right. It doesn’t have to be centered in
front of the TV. The ZVOX speaker performs best
if it faces the people watching the TV.
The connections to the SB380 input panel are
not affected by your choice of placement.

The ZVOX Soundbar Model SB380 is often referred to as the
“ZVOX speaker” or “SB380” in this User Manual.

NOTES:
The SB380 has two keyhole-style
slots on the back panel. With the owner-
supplied hardware, these two attachment
points allow “on wall” placement or secure
attachment to a flat surface.
