- The maximum running time of the compressor is 30 minutes; if after this time the
programmed temperature has still not been reached, the compressor will stop for 4 minutes
to defrost, and will then start up again until the programmed temperature is reached.
If you want to run a test on the chilling equipment, you can see the interior temperature on the display
panel; to do so, enter the programming function and when you have got to the temperature field, press
SW9 and the screen will show the temperature taken by the internal gauge. To exit this process,
switch off the machine.
1.7. SAFETY SYSTEMS
The machine has various safety systems:
If the machine goes out of service during a juicing process, the coin box will return the payment
inserted.
If the juicer tray is not properly fitted (Fig. 34), the juicer will not work and the display will show the
word
malfunction
.
If for any reason the juicing machine, while operating, becomes blocked, after a few seconds the
motor will stop automatically and the display will show the word
malfunction
.
The juicer motor is equipped with a thermal cut-out device.
The motor of the filter cleaner has a protective device that limits its operating time.
The motor of the cup-holder has a protective device that limits its operating time.
There is a 10-A general fuse (diagram 24.1, no. 5).
1.8. MAINTENANCE
Juicing machine
: Every 600,000 oranges, oil the guide rails, replace the springs and carry out an
exhaustive cleaning. Remove the tray to facilitate the handling or repair of the juicer (Fig. 38).
Refrigeration unit
: Clean the grilles at the air intake/outlet and the entrance to the condenser
(Fig. 35).
To facilitate the replacement or repair of the refrigeration equipment, remove the refrigeration unit
(Fig. 39).
Photocells
: Clean the optics and check the condition of the black adhesive at the front of each
load of oranges.
1.9. TROUBLESHOOTING
CUP DISPENSER:
(Fig. 20)
- If there is a warning that there are no cups, but there
are
cups in the machine, this means the cup-
holder has tried to release a cup three times unsuccessfully. Check that the cups are not too
closely stuck together or too oval in shape.
- Check that there is a gap of at least 3 mm between the mouths of the cups.
- Try to move the dispenser directly using the SW4 button (diagram 24.2); if it doesn’t move,
dismantle the lid and check the mechanism.
JUICER:
-
The oranges do not drop from the basket:
The oranges are too big for the separator of the
basket you are using.
- You are using the hopper track funnel with the large squeezed kit.
-
Several oranges drop at the same time:
The oranges are too small for the separator of the
basket you are using, or the basket is not secured properly.
-
The oranges are not being fully squeezed:
The washers underneath the squeezers are
missing. There should be a washer ref. V0133 underneath each squeezer.
-
Blade breakage:
The rubber mounts have come loose and the peel has piled up in the squeezing
tray.
The nuts on the cups are not sufficiently tightened.
The squeezers of the tray are loose.
