Action
1.
Verify that the power outlet can supply power properly and the power cable is
connected correctly.
2.
Press the power switch several times to power on the server system.
3.
Disconnect the power cable of the server system, and then open the cover plate of the
server chassis. Verify that in the server chassis the cable connections are correct and
the fittings are installed securely.
4.
Remove the external plug-in devices.
5.
Install the cover plate of the server chassis and power cable, and then power on the
server again.
3.3 Monitor Displays Nothing
Symptom
The server system is powered on, the host is operating properly, but the monitor displays
nothing.
Probable Cause
The signal cable is not connected or set incorrectly.
Action
1.
Verify that the signal cable and the power cable of the monitor are connected properly
and secured.
2.
Verify that the monitor is turned on.
3.
Adjust the contrast and lightness of the monitor.
4.
Turn off the server system, disconnect the power cable, and then verify that the pins
of the signal cable plug that is connected to the host are bent.
5.
Replace the monitor with another monitor for testing.
3.4 Keyboard and Mouse Cannot Operate
Symptom
The server system is powered on, the host is operating properly, but the keyboard and
mouse fail to operate.
Probable Cause
The mouse and keyboard are not connected or set incorrectly.
Action
1.
Verify that the cables of the mouse and keyboard are connected properly.
