40 - Accounts and Messaging
NOTE:
To view the details of a particular message, in
the message thread, touch and hold the
message to open the options menu, and then
touch
.
NOTE:
If a message contains a link to a web page,
touch the link in the message to open it in the
web browser.
NOTE:
If a message contains a phone number or an
email address, touch the phone number or
email address in the message to dial the
number, send an email, or add it to your
contacts.
View a Multimedia Message
(MMS)
1. From the home screen, touch .
2. On the Messages screen, touch a
multimedia message or message thread
to open it.
3. Touch the attachment to open it. If the
attachment is a vCard contact, touch it to
view the contact or import it to your
contacts. If the attachment is a vCalendar
file, you can import the calendar event.
NOTE:
When Auto-download MMS in MMS settings
is disabled, only the message header is
downloaded. To download the entire message,
touch the attachment icon in the message. If
you are concerned about the size of your data
downloads, check the multimedia message
size before you download it.
Reply to a Message
1. From the home screen, touch .
2. On the Messages screen, touch a text or
multimedia message thread to open it.
3. Touch the text box at the bottom of the
screen, enter your reply message, and
then touch
.
Delete Message Threads
1. From the home screen, touch .
2. On the Messages screen, touch and hold
a message thread that you want to delete.
3. If you want to delete more message
threads, touch them one by one.
4. Touch > DELETE .
Delete Messages in a Thread
1. From the home screen, touch .
2. On the Messages screen, touch a
message thread.
3. Touch and hold the message that you
want to delete.
4. Touch > DELETE .
