The Handset lock code is stored on the handset and protects against unwanted use. If the handset is lost
or stolen it cannot be switched on without the handset lock code. This provides a greater level of protec-
tion than the PIN code which protects the USIM card only. The default code is 0000. The handset code
is OFF by default.
