Adding music to your phone
You can add music to your phone’s internal storage or to a removable
microSDHC card ( see Phone setup – Inserting a microSDHC card ) .
Note:
Steps may vary depending on your operating system .
1 . Connect your phone to your computer with a USB cable .
2 . Tap
Media device (MTP)

Note: If you have a microSDHC card in your phone, you may be presented
with additional options . Tap Turn on USB storage > OK , or open the
Notifications panel and tap Connected as an installer > Media
device (MTP) .
3 . On your PC, choose to view files through Windows ® Explorer . If you have
a Mac, visit http://www .android .com/filetransfer to download the
necessary software .
4 . Choose whether you want to add files to your phone’s internal storage
or to the microSDHC card, and then drag and drop the files you want
to transfer .
5 . When you’re finished transferring files, open the Notifications panel and
tap Connected as a media device > Charge only . You may now safely
disconnect your phone from the computer .
Playing your music
You can play the audio files stored in
your phone’s microSDHC card or internal
storage in Music .
1 . From the home screen, tap

Music
to access the music player .
2 . Select Albums/Artists/Songs/
Playlists/Folders/GenreList to find
the songs you want to play .
3 . Tap an item from the list to start
playing .
4 . Adjust the volume with the
Volume keys .

1 Song and artist information .

Tap to toggle repeat mode: repeat all songs, repeat current
song, or repeat off .
3 Drag the slider to jump to any part of the song .
4 Tap to open the current playlist .
5 Skip songs or pause and resume playback .
6 Add to Favorite playlist .

Tap to play the current playlist in shuffle mode, where tracks
are played in random order .
8 Album artwork .
