Adding a Wi-Fi Network
You can add a Wi-Fi network if the network does not broadcast its
name (SSID), or add a Wi-Fi network when you are out of range.
To connect to a secured network, you first need to get the
security details from the network's administrator.
1. Swipe up the home screen twice from the
Home
key to view
all the apps, and touch
Settings > Network & Internet >
Wi-Fi
.
2. (Optional) If Wi-Fi is off, touch the switch to turn it on.
3. At the bottom of the list of available networks, touch
Add
network
.
4. Enter the network SSID (name). If necessary, enter security
or other network configuration details.
5. Touch
SAVE
.
Connecting to Bluetooth Devices
Bluetooth is a short-range wireless communication technology.
Phones or other devices with Bluetooth capabilities can
exchange information wirelessly within a distance of about 30
feet. The Bluetooth devices must be paired before the
communication is performed.
1. Swipe up the home screen twice from the
Home
key to view
all the apps, and touch
Settings > Connected devices
.
2. (Optional) If the Bluetooth is off, slide the screen down to view
the Quick Settings and turn the Bluetooth on.
3. Touch
the
Back
key to return to the Connected devices menu
