Key Functions
Key Function
Power key

Press and hold to turn airplane mode on or off,
restart, power off, or toggle sound, silence, and
vibration.

Press to switch your phone to sleep mode or
wake up your phone.
Volume key
Press or hold either end of the key to turn the
volume up or down.
(Home key)

Touch to return to the home screen from any
application or screen.

Touch and hold to use the Google Assistant.
(Recent apps
key)

Touch to see recently used applications.

Touch twice to switch between the two most
recent applications.
(Back key)
Touch to go to the previous screen.
NOTE:
You can replace the Home key, the Recent apps key, and the Back
key with other navigation styles. From the home screen, touch
Settings > Features > Navigation keys to select other navigation
bar styles, see tutorials, and personalize settings.
