Configuring the BIOS
Advanced Menu
The Advanced menu items allow you to change the setting for the CPU and other
system devices. Press <enter> to display the configuration options:
ACPI Settings
The items in this menu allow you to set ACPI Configuration.

ACPI Sleep State
Select the highest ACPI sleep state, the system will enter when the SUSPEND
button is pressed.

USB Device Wakeup From S3 or S4
Use this item to enable or disable USB Device wakeup from S3 or S4.
CPU Configuration
The items in this menu show the CPU-related information that the BIOS automatically
detects. Press <enter>to display the configuration options:

Limit CPUID Maximum
Allows you to determine whether to limit CPUID maximum value. Set this item
to [Disable] Windows XP operating system; set this item to [Enable] for legacy
operating system such as Windows NT4.0..

PSS Support
Use this item to enable or disable PSS Support.

PSTATE Adjustment
Use this item to adjust Performance State.

PPC Adjustment
Use this item to adjust PPC.

NX Mode
Use this item to enable or disable NX mode.
