STARTING AND STOPPING

 

FITTING THE D TYPE HANDLE 

 

 

 

Clip the D type 
handle onto the 
shaft. 

 

Slide the spacer 
into the slot in the 
D type handle. 
Fit the fixing bolt 
and locking knob 
and tighten them 
together. Do not 
over tighten. 
Now adjust the 
trimmer to give a 
comfortable 
working position. 
Tighten the 
bolt/knob.

 

 

 

CONNECT BATTERY TO THE 

MACHINE 

NOTE 

When using different Zomax 

batteries, there may be differences 
in cutting performance. 
Make sure to use fully charged 
batteries. Only use a Zomax 
original battery in your machine.

TECHNICAL DATA

Insert the battery in the machine. 
The battery should slide easily into 
the battery holder on the machine. 
If the battery does not slide in 
easily, it is not being inserted 
correctly. The battery will lock itself 
into place when you hear a click. 
Make sure the battery is fitted 

correctly to the machine. 

 

 

HARNESS, QUICK RELEASE 

A well-adjusted 
harness and 
machine makes 
work much easier. 
Adjust the 
harness for the 
best working 
position. Tension 
the side straps so 
that the weight is 
evenly distributed 
across both 
shoulders. 

 

CHECK BEFORE STARTING 

 

Inspect  the  working  area.  Remove 
any  objects  that  could  be  thrown 
out.  
Check the cutting attachment. 
Never use blades that are dull, 
cracked or damaged. 
Check that the machine is in 
perfect working order. Check that 
all nuts and screws are tight.  
Only use the machine for the 
purpose it was intended for.  
Make sure that the handle and 
safety features are in good working 
order. Never use a machine that 
lacks a part or has been modified
