Did you press the ON button?

Please press the ON button.

Hot water pours out from the

Spout or the Steam Vent.

Set it correctly.

The Body is not set correctly on

the Power Base.

Pour out the excess water until it

is below the Maximum Water

Level Line.

Allow the Inner Container to cool,

fill with water then press the ON

button again. See pg.10

Remove metal flakes or dusts.

Connect the Power Plug.

Metal flakes or dusts have

accumulated on the Connector.

Power Plug is not connected to an

electrical outlet.

You hear a light sound

when opening and

closing the Upper Lid.

The Body becomes

hot.

Inner Lid Gasket

When  the  water  temperature  and/or  room  temperature  is  high,  the  outer

surface of the Body may reach up to 60˚C. This is not a malfunction.

The Inner Lid Gasket is replaceable so please check it every year. When

steam  comes  out  from  the  gap  between  the  Upper  Lid  and  the  Body,  or

becomes white or discolored, replace it with a new one. See pg.12

Plastic Parts

The plastic part of the Upper Lid may deteriorate over use. If discoloration

occurs or the surface becomes coarse, replace the Upper Lid.

Clean the Inner Container with

Citric Acid (Inner Container

Cleaner). See pg.13

The Power Cord

becomes hot.

The Power Cord may become hot while the water is boiling. This is not a

malfunction.

This sound is normal and comes from the movement of the weight which

prevents hot water from overflowing when the product is overturned.

A filmy, floating residue is

noticeable.

Although the ON button is

pressed, soon after that the

Boil Light turns off.

Milky white and rough-surfaced

objects have built up on the

surface of the Inner Container.

Red or gray rust-like spotting

appears on the Inner

Container surface.

This is due to the ingredients in

the water (minerals) and leaving

scales accumulated on the surface

of the Inner Container, boiling may

become louder than usual.

Caused by iron in the water, not

deterioration of the Inner Container.

Residue is due to the mineral

content in water, not from

corrosion of the Inner Container.

Check that the Inner Container is

not filled over the Maximum Water

Level Line.

Is water filled in? The Automatic

Shut-Off Function must have

activated.

Did you press the ON button

immediately after boiling

completion?

Boiling is louder than usual.

In high altitudes or severely cold areas, the product may not perform as specified. Avoid using
