4.3 Electric connection
•
The power supply of the heat pump must pass via a protection facility and circuit-breaker (not supplied) in
compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
•
The appliance is foreseen for connection to the mains circuit with TT and TN.S neutral connection (according
to NF C 15-100).

•
Electrical protection: circuit breaker
(curve D)
or fuse
(Am)
adapted to the type of unit
(see ** below)
with a
protection system by 30 mA differential on the incoming supply side (
circuit breaker or switch).
Note
:
• The acceptable voltage variation during operation is ± 10%
• The cable ways and ducts must be fastened.
• Only use
cable suitable for outdoor use
.
• Use the packing glands and cable inlets to feed the cables into the unit.
• Possibility to connect a control device
(remote On/Off)
using
a potential-free contact
-without polarity 230V -50Hz-
between terminals 1-2
=> refer to the electrical wiring diagram below
.
• Possibility to connect an
–exterior-
fault indicator of 230V-50Hz between terminals 0 and 4
=> refer to the electrical wiring diagram below.
• Possibility of creating a warning signal (terminals 5 and 6) to control the filter pump if required by the
temperature conditions
(except in the case of heating, a 5-minute filter operating cycle every hour will be respected in
order to measure the true pool water temperature)
. This function is obtained with electrical logic using a
potential-
free contact
(I max. = 5 A at 230Vac with a resistive load)
=> refer to the electrical wiring diagram below
.
When these electrical connections have been made, your unit automatically controls the pool filter system and ensures the water
temperature remains correct, day and night
(this function is referred to as heating priority
).
Connection of the following optional extras: heating priority, remote On/Off, machine fault indication.
