The Ziton Wireless Remote Indicator requires
programming onto the system.
Please Note: The final commissioning and hand over of
the wireless fire system to the end user is the
responsibility of the fire installation contractor.

Battery fitment
The Ziton Remote Indicator is powered by 6 x AA alkaline
batteries. These are supplied fitted. Should batteries
require replacement, only use specified batteries whilst
observing correct polarity as shown in Figure 4.

Device Reassembly
To reassemble the unit, firstly fit the remote indicator
section to the wireless module by turning clockwise to
achieve a positive location.
Then the wireless module should be re fitted to the
mounting plate by turning it clockwise to achieve a
positive location. Ensure that the tamper switch operates
correctly. The switch should make contact with the
mounting plate.
Device Locking
The device can be locked into its mounting plate by
removing the cut out section as shown in Figure 5 .
To unlock the device, insert a flat bladed screwdriver into
the release slot and turn the remote indicator counter
clockwise to release it from the wireless module as shown
in Figure 6.
