Power fault
Indications
• A fault message is displayed on the fire alarm control panel and the panel
buzzer sounds. The Fault LED on the fire alarm control panel also illuminates.
• The display indicates a fault as PWRFLT Zone 001 Dev 5001 Event 002.
Possible causes
• Total loss of power to the ECU.
• Loss of power to a section of the ECU main board.
Corrective actions
1. Press the Accept/Panel Silence button to silence the buzzer to acknowledge
the fault.
2. Check if the green Power On LED indicates on the ECU. If not it would
indicate a complete loss of 24 Volt power supply. Repair or replace as
required.
3. If the green Power On LED illuminates, then check for local power loss on the
PCB. Rectify or replace the board.
4. Reset the panel.
