CAUTION! Pull mains plug out of the socket!
Place a T-square onto the table top and push it up against the saw blade (Figure
15). The leg of the T-square must lie parallel along the entire length of the saw
blade and if this is not the case, adjust the pointer (a) (Figure 14). To do this,
undo the screw and adjust the pointer. The degrees marked on the angle scale
only serve as orientation help (Figure 8). Precise settings can be made using an
adjustable angle.
CAUTION! After each readjustment we recommend carrying out a test
cut to check the set dimensions.
Setting the angle fence (9) (Figure 16)
CAUTION! Pull mains plug out of the socket.
Place an angle gauge on the angle fence, slide the gauge up to the saw blade un-
til the long leg is up against the saw blade. Move the angle fence so that the leg
lies parallel to the saw blade all the way along. Lock the angle fence with the star
screw. This operation must be carried out in the same way when setting to any
desired angle between 90° and 45°. A precise setting is not possible with the
graduations on the cross-cut fence. We recommend using an adjustable graduat-
ed steel protractor.
Dust extraction (Fig. 17)
Dust is hazardous to health when breathed in, and small dust particles, which
may concentrate in the air, form an explosive mixture. When operating in con-
fined spaces, therefore, always use an extracting device or vacuum cleaner, or
ensure that the space is well ventilated. The machine is fitted with a connecting
socket (11) for an extractor hose (30 mm). Insert the adapter (20) with the
grooved end (a) into the connection supports (11) and fix by turning slightly to
the right. Turn the vacuuming hose (19) and fit in to the side threaded outlet (b).
Fit the other end over the support of the protective guard (1).
