kind may be used. Correct use also includes adherence to the safety instructions
and the operating information in the operating instructions. Persons operating
and maintaining the machine must familiarise themselves with these instructions
and be aware of possible hazards. The relevant regulations for accident preven-
tion must be closely adhered to. Other general medical and safety regulations
must be observed. The manufacturer shall not be liable for any alterations made
to the machine and any damage resulting from them. Such alterations will result
in a lapse of the guarantee. Despite correct use certain residual risk factors due
to the design cannot be completely ruled out:
- contact with the saw blade in the exposed area of the saw
- Reaching into the running saw blade (cuts)
- In particular, small sawn sections may get caught in the blade and thrown
out. If necessary, place the workpiece on a larger piece which covers the
slot in the bench insert (3) and saw it with the workpiece
- As a result of incorrect handling, workpiece and parts of workpiece may
kick back
- Saw blade breakage
- Ejection of defective carbide parts of saw blade
- Damage to hearing through not using the necessary ear protectors
- Hazardous emission of saw dust during use in confined spaces The machine
is not intended for commercial or industrial use.
Intended users
The machine is intended for use by home handypersons with appropriate expe-
rience and skills.
Materials suitable for machining
Solid seasoned hard- and softwoods, wood composites and wood materials, free
of foreign bodies such as nails, screws or mortar residues.
Permitted ambient conditions
The machine is intended for use in dry indoor areas not exposed to extreme cli-
matic conditions.
CAUTION: The machine is not suitable for use in potentially explosive
environments!
The machine is intended only for use in the household. This unit may not be used
by people (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capaci-
ties, with a lack of experience and without the appropriate knowledge, unless
they are supervised by someone who is responsible for their safety or have been
instructed by such a person with regard to how the unit is to be operated. Child-
ren should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the device.
