General
Before starting to use the machine you need to read and fully understand the manual!!!
This manual contains important information about the proper way of installing, operating and
maintaining the equipment described in this manual. When using any sandblasting cabinet there are
a different kind of risks that you may incur, risks in personal injuries or property damage. Everyone
who comes into contact with the installation, maintenance or operation of the Zionair sandblasting
cabinet be fully familiar with the contents of this manual. To protect yourself against personal injury
or property damage you need to follow the following information and instructions in this manual.
Every Zionair sandblasting cabinet is manufactured in accordance with the Machinery Directive
2006/42/EC. Every sandblasting cabinet is supplied with a manual including a declaration of
conformity. These must be stored and kept up to date properly.
Because of quality reasons constant improvements are going to be made on the equipment, Zionair
reserves the right to alter specifications of the equipment described in this manual.

Safety rules
General safety regulations
1.
Before operating the machine, make sure you have fully read and understood the entire
contents of this user manual.
2.
Check the machine for defects previous to each use, in case of a defect or when the machine
does not function properly, first have it repaired by a specialized person/company.
3.
At all times wear eye protection when operating the machine, use safety glasses with side
cover or use an over glasses which meets the national safety standard.
4.
Keep the working environment clean and well-lit, debris and bad lighting are factors that
cause dangerous situations.
5.
Never use this machine near flammable liquids and/or gases.
6.
Never use this machine in a dangerous working environment. The use of power equipment in
moist environments or rain can cause electrocution.
7.
Make sure the machine is properly grounded.
8.
Make sure the power switch is in the OFF-position (0) before plugging in the machine.
9.
Keep kids and visitors at a safe distance.
10.
Make your workshop child-proof by using hanglocks on main switches and removing keys
when the machine is not being used.
11.
At all times wear breathing protection and safety glasses when opening the cover after using
the machine.
