FLASH TRIGGER MENU
The “FLASH” time is the length of time after a power failure is detected that the relay will be energized. The relay can be used to
put a cabinet into Flash after the power has been out for a certain period of time. It can also be used to inform the tra
ffi
c center
that an area has had a power failure that has lasted a certain amount of time.
To Setup a Flash Trigger:
•
Select NEXT to get to the
fl
ash trigger panel if not
already on it.
•
Select SET. The cursor will now be in the trigger
pane.
•
Press LEFT/RIGHT to move the cursor.
•
Press UP/DOWN to change the
fl
ash time. The time
changes in increments of 15 minutes.
•
After entering the
fl
ash time, move the cursor to
ON or OFF.
•
Press ENTER. The save menu will appear and the
cursor will move to it.
•
Review changes and select YES.
•
The relay is now con
fi
gured.
