The Selection of the Nozzle Size
The provided nozzle set comprises six different nozzles – one brown, one white, three
orange, and one high grade steel nozzles.
If only one or two nozzles are required,
the discharge opening of the other nozzle bodies must be closed by turning the
ball valve filter. These “blind” nozzle bodies may naturally not be connected to
the conveying worm.
It can be deducted from Table 2 (Section 14 which nozzles must be deployed for the
required flow rates.

Example for the correct Preparation
1.
Moisture Content
20 %
2.
Intended Storage Period
3-6 months
3.
Deployed Acid
Luprosil

5.
Recommended Ratio of LUPROSIL according to List 3
0.65 kg/100 kg
6.
Dosing Quantity according to Table 1 (Section 14)

7.
Selection of Nozzle according to Table 2 (Section 14)
3 x orange / 1 x brown
8.
Quantity set via the Quantity Adjusting Screw at the
Pump
169 l/h
As soon as the upper edge of the floater has reached the 169 l/h at the flowmeter, the pickup
will be slid as far up or down until the same is situated at the centre of the upper edge of the
floater. (Diagram
, Page - 33 -- 15 -)
Important Notice!
The flowmeter is only calibrated for water and LUPROSIL
.
The viscosity of LUPRO-GRAIN
or LUPROSIL NC
is strongly dependant of the
temperature, which is the reason why the device may present faulty values for these
media.
For this reason, the unit must be always be calibrated, if any other media than
LUPROSIL
is deployed.
The measuring tube with the floater then only serves for the automatic switch-off-
function.
