Mounting of the Nozzle Fixtures
In order to be able to mount the nozzles to the existing worm pipe, four bore holes with
approximately 20 mm Ø must be drilled into the worm pipe directly after the intake guide
(see Page 8).
Before the nozzle retaining plates are fastened to the worm tube via eight tension strips, the
same must be screw-connected with the nozzle holders.
Prior to this, the ball valve filters and the required nozzle combinations must be inserted.
After the bore holes have been drilled (see the diagram on Page - 30 -), the nozzle holder is
clamped with four nozzle retaining plates and the rubber sealing plates using eight tension
strips and the turnbuckles to the worm pipe (see Diagram 1).
As depicted in the diagram, the tension trips should be placed directly next to the hexagonal
bar of the nozzle retaining plate (see Diagram 1).
The eight tension strips provided within the delivery scope are dimensioned in length so that
they are sufficient to fit a worm pipe diameter of up to 250 mm (see Page - 12 -- 30 -
tensioning strip lengths).

Diagram 2
The images of Diagram 1 and 2 depict the fastening/mounting of two nozzle bodies of the
PKT 450.
The PKT 960 unit however disposes of 4 nozzle bodies. This means that 4 nozzle body
fixtures must be mounted.
For practical reasons 4 fixtures were not depicted in these operating instructions.
