Ethernet Data and Power Cable
The Ethernet Data and Power Cable has a waterproof connector with a green ring on the
SkyZhone end, and an RJ45 plug on the other end. This cable is intended for use in applications
where the SkyZhone AP will provide power to an auxiliary device. The SkyZhone AP can supply
48 Vdc at up to 35 Watts. Therefore this cable must not be used to connect the SkyZhone to with
a gigabit Ethernet interface such as a switch or router. It must only be used with devices that are
able to receive the 48V. Otherwise, serious damage could occur to the auxiliary device. This
cable can be ordered in lengths of 5, 30 or 100 feet.

The Ethernet connector is capable of sourcing power to other devices. Some devices may not
be compatible with this feature. In that case, do not connect the wires that supply the power, or use the
Data Only cable shown in Table-8.
