Practice Safe Maintenance
Securely support all tractor elements that must be lifted during service work.
Keep all machine parts in perfect condition.
Replace worn or broken parts. Replace damaged / missing plates.
Remove all grease and dirt from the tractor.
Disconnect the battery ground cable (-) before starting repair work on electrical systems or before welding
work on the tractor.
Avoid High-Pressure Fluids
Before starting work, make sure you understand the work
procedures.
Keep the tractor area clean and dry.
Do not attempt to repair the tractor while it is in motion.
Stay away (also keep your clothing away!) from the
rotating shafts.
Always lower the attached implement on the ground. Stop
the engine.
Remove the key. Let the tractor cool down before starting
repair work.
HODP019
Leaking fluid under pressure can penetrate the skin and
cause serious injuries. Be especially careful when
handling the injection elements - there is a risk that the
liquid under high pressure penetrated the skin. Seek
medical attention immediately if any liquid penetrates your
skin.
