AUTOMATIC POWER

ENGAGE

Your 10 year life smoke alarm is powered by

an internal lithium-ion power pack. To avoid

unnecessary use of the power pack prior to

installation, and to ease disposal when the

alarm reaches the end of its life, the alarm is

supplied with the power pack in a deactivated

state. The power pack is automatically

enabled when the alarm is correctly attached

to the mounting plate.

WARNING:

 This automatic power

engage system only applies to the

following 10 year smoke alarms:

ZD-SI-610, ZD-SO-610

ZD-WSI-610, ZD-WSO-610

IMPORTANT:

Your alarm will not work

until it is correctly located and secured

on the mounting plate.

The mounting plate includes a small magnet

as illustrated below. Ensure the magnet is in

position prior to attaching the alarm.
