5.0 Filter Diagnostics
5.1 Fault Indication
Listed below is a guide to the action required for the following faults indicated on the control
panel.

Red Fault lamp
The High DP switch
contacts have
closed.
Check operation of switch and pressure lines are clear.
Check electrical connection between switch and circuit board.
High DP switch set point set to low.
Check air supply is on and the pneumatic airline to the
backwash valve is intact.
Check if flow rate or contaminate loading on filter has
increased, if so, reduce flow rate, or consider coarser elements
Red and Yellow
Fault lamp
Valve has not
returned to home
position within 60s
Check operation of motor/gearbox assembly.
Check operation of opto disc and sensors.
Once the fault has been cleared, the fault lamp will
automatically reset once the power has been switched off and
back on.
Yellow Fault lamp
Valve has jammed
during the backwash
sequence and the
thermal overload has
been operated.
A large object has prevented the Indexing Valve Shoe from
rotating. Follow the Indexing Valve removal procedure in
Section 4.3.
Check that there is no damage to the indexing valve.
If the fault persists, check that the Indexing Valve is free to
rotate and service if necessary.
