A flexible gas tube and two mounting clips are supplied with the device. Please refer to the following
sequence when installing the gas supply:
Screw the pressure controller tightly to the gas cylinder.
Put the flexible gas tube to the connection piece at the device and to the pressure controller, and
use the mounting clips to fix it tightly on either side.
To verify the gas-tightness of the system, all the connection points must be sprayed with a soap
solution, the gas cylinder valve must be opened, and it must be checked for possible bubbling
effects. The system is not tight at a location, when bubbles are forming there. Shut off the gas
supply at the gas cylinder, check the corresponding connection point and repeat this leak test
until there are not leaks any more.

Turn the thermostat switch clockwise to position “3”
(ambient temper32°C).
Open the gas supply valve at the gas cylinder.
Press the safety pilot switch for about 10 seconds. Gas
will flow through the line and will vent the gas line to
the burner.
The ignition of the burner can be viewed through
flame indicator window on the control panel. To keep
the flame burning, the safety pilot switch must be kept
pressed for another 20 to 30 seconds.
If for any reason the flame will be extinguished during
operation, then the safety pilot device will
automatically shut off the gas supply. In the case, the
priming procedure must be repeated.
Use the thermometer enclosed to check for the temperature of the cooling section after about 24
hours. For the storage of vaccines the temperature should be within a range b1°C and
+8°C. Adjust the temperature as required using the gas thermostat switch (increased setting =
increased cooling capacity).
Shut off the gas supply at the gas cylinder to switch off the device when it is operated with gas
energy. Important: Turning the thermostat switch back to setting ‘min’ (small flame) will not switch
off the burner. In this case the flame will continue to burn at minimum position. The device must
Never be operated at the thermostat setting during normal operation.
