6. TROUBLESHOOTING

The product does not work.
• Is the power cord connected?
Check whether the power cord is plugged into a 220 to 240 V - AC, 50/60 Hz
wall socket.
• Has the device been assembled correctly?
Assemble the device following the instructions (see page 12).
• Has the power gone off?
Assemble the device following the instructions (see page 12).
• Have you used the device for over 20 minutes?
If you want to use the device for over 20 minutes, turn the device off and let it
cool down for an hour.
The juice is too thick or thin.
• Did you assemble the rubber pad correctly?
Assemble the rubber pad following the instructions (see page 9: picture 8)
• Did you use fresh ingredients?
Overripe fruit or vegetables may get stuck in the crew net. If you want to use
overripe ingredients, soak them in mineral water for 10 minutes or longer
before juicing.
• Did you put too many
ingredients or anything else
into the device?
Do not put too many ingredients or any liquids into the device.
It is recommended to juice approx. 250 g of fruits/vegetable for each minute
of operation.
We recommend you rinse the device after juicing 1 kg of fruit or vegetables.
If the drum overflows, disassembly the appliance and wash it as is described
in the chapter 2 Maintenance and Cleaning.
The Drum cover is too hard to open.
• How did you open the Drum cover?
Press the REV button and open the Drum towards “OPEN”.
Check directions when opening the drum.
The product stops while in use.
• Did you force food into the juicer?
Do not put too many ingredients in.
• Did you put the ingredients in with hard seeds?
Press the REV button for 2-3 seconds and then press the ON button again.
After following the step above, if the Squeezing Screw does not rotate, stop
using the device. Turn it off, disassemble and clean it. Then reassemble and
use the device again.
The motor shakes making a loud noise .
• Have the device and all its parts been assembled
properly?
If the device is assembled properly, it will normally make noise when juicing
overripe fruit and vegetables. Turn the device off and clean the container.
This appliance can only be assigned to the functions it has been designed for, i.e. juice exctraction for domestic use.
The manufacturer cannot be held responsible for any damage deriving from improper, incorrect or unreasonable use.
All our appliances have undergone strict inspection tests and are guaranteed against manufacturing defects.
The guarantee starts from the date of purchase.
The date of purchase is the date shown on the invoice issued by the dealer upon the delivery of the appliance.
Evidence of original purchase is required for warranty services, so it is important to keep your sales receipt.
The warranty period is applicable according to the local laws and regulations in force.
The manufacturer undertakes to repair or replace those parts that prove to have manufacturing defects cost free, within the warranty period.
Those defects that are not clearly attributable to either material or manufacturing will be examined at one of our Zepter Service Centres or at
our headquarters and charged according to the outcome.
The warranty is only valid if:
• The device shows material or manufacturing defects.
• No signs of damage by the customer or presence of non-original pieces fit by other people has been found.

The warranty does not include:
• Normal wear and tear on parts.
• Damage caused by transport, inadequate use, negligence and/or incorrect use.

• Any damage to the product resulting from repairs and/or maintenance carried out by unauthorised repair.
7. WARRANTY INFORMATION
When the device is inoperable, follow the following steps.
1. Turn off the device
2. Run the device in “REV” mode for a few seconds.
3. Use the device again.
4. If the “REV” mode does not work, turn off and disassemble the device.
Then, reassemble it following instructions.
5. Start the device again.
