The chainsaw is equipped with a mechanic chain brake, which stops the chain in a few 

seconds. Chain brake is a protecting device which is activated after pressing the front 

guard, for example, when hand touches it after kickback.

Attention: Chain brake is intended for user protection in case of a kickback. 

The brake cannot provide security if the chainsaw is operated without caution.

5. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

1. Read the safety instructions before operation and keep for future reference to learn 

proper, safe techniques. 

2. Operate the chainsaw according to its intended use and indications, given in the 

present instruction manual. Protect the chainsaw from bumps and overload. 

3. When operating the chainsaw always use

personal protection equipment:

• safety goggles for eye protection;

• noise protection;

• dust protection mask;

• gloves;

• safety shoes.

4. Do not wear loose clothing.

5. Do not smoke or use open fire and heating elements near fuel or the chainsaw. Keep 

fuel and oil at a safe distance from working saw.
