The air fryer can be used to prepare many dishes. To prepare
the food, use the settings in the table — see
Frying settings
Frying with hot air
1
Set the fryer horizontally on a firm, level surface.
Do not place the appliance on a surface that is
susceptible to high temperature.
Do not place any objects on the appliance.
Do not block the air inlet (10) and air outlet (6)
at the back of the appliance, as this disrupts
the air flow and will affect the cooking.
2
Plug the power cord
(7)
into a power source.
3
Move the cover
(2)
forward and remove the bowl
(5)
from
the appliance
Basket release button cover (2) protects
against inadvertent pressing of the button (3)
and disengaging the basket (1) from the bowl
(5). If you remove the bowl from the unit and
do not intend to take out the basket (1), set the
cover (2) in such a position as to protect the
button (3).
4
Press the basket release button
(3)
and remove the
basket
(1)
from the bowl
(5)
.
5
Put the food into the basket
(1)
.
Never completely fill the basket (1) or load
more than the allowed amount of food (see
Frying settings) as this could affect the quality
of frying.
6
Fit the basket
(1)
in the bowl
(5)
.
Set the basket release button cover (2) in
such a position to protect the button (3). This
protects against inadvertent pressing of the
button (3) and disengaging the basket (1) from
the bowl.
7
Place the bowl
(5)
in the fryer.
Do not use the bowl (5) without the basket (1).
Bowl (5) must be properly placed in the
appliance. If you do not properly fit the bowl (5)
in the fryer, the appliance will not start.
8
Select the desired temperature using the temperature
control knob
(9)
.
9
To start the appliance set the desired cooking time using
the time setting knob
(8)
.
To determine the cooking temperature and
time, follow the guidelines in the Frying
settings section.
●
The power indicator
(11)
and the heating indicator
(12)
will come on.
●
Timer will count down the cooking time.
During hot air frying the heating indicator (12)
will come on and off. It indicates the heating
element turns on and off to maintain the set
temperature.
You can preheat the appliance before placing
food in it. In this case, set the time control knob
(8) to about 5 minutes, and then wait until the
fryer heats up. Then, fill the basket (1) and set
cooking time using the time control knob (8).
Do not touch the bowl (5) during cooking and
for some time after, as the appliance heats up
to a very high temperature. Hold the bowl (5) by
the handle only.
Excess fat from food is collected at the bottom
of the bowl (5).
10
Some dishes need to be tossed half way through cooking
time — see
Frying settings section
.
●
Slide button cover
(2)
forward and remove the bowl
(5)
by the handle
(4)
. Then set the button cover
(2)
so
that it protects the basket release button
(3)
to prevent
accidental pressing. Toss the contents of the bowl
(5)
.
Make sure you do not press the basket release
button (3).
To reduce weight, you can remove the basket
(1) from the bowl (5) and toss the contents of
the basket only. To do this, remove the bowl (5)
from the appliance, set on the surface resistant
to high temperature and press the basket
release button (3).
11
Replace the bowl
(5)
in the air fryer and continue frying.
If you set the timer to half of the entire cooking
time, you will hear a beep when you need to toss
the food. You will need to use the time control
knob (8) to set the other half of the cooking time.
If you set the timer for the entire cooking
time, you hear a beep when the cooking
completes. You can remove the bowl (5) at
any time to check the food. The appliance will
automatically power off and resume cooking
when you replace the bowl in the appliance.
