Helpful hints
●
Cooking in the upper steam bowls may require a longer
cooking time, due to lower steam temperature.
●
If you cook meat, fish or poultry, always place these
products in the lower steam bowls so that juices from
raw or partially cooked meat do not drip on other food.
●
It is recommended that portions of the products were
of similar size. If the portions are of different sizes, it is
necessary to stack them in layers, smaller pieces on top.
●
Products in steam bowls are not to be pressed. Keep
space between the product portions to provide maximum
steam flow.
●
When cooking large quantities of products, remove the
lid in the middle of cooking and stir the food with a tool
with a long handle wearing oven gloves to protect hands.
●
Add salt and seasoning to the steam bowls when
cooking is finished. This will prevent damage to the
steam generators located in the water reservoir.
●
Fluid collected in the drip tray may be kept and used to
prepare soups and sauces.
●
Do not cook frozen meat, poultry and seafood in the
appliance. These should be thoroughly defrosted before
cooking.
