DEVICE DESCRIPTION
2.1 General
The WSB ZPiezo CAN is a controller may be used for no purpose other than operating the WSB
500 stage attatchment (432339-9000-000) and may be used only with the specified stage inserts.
The stage attatchment and the WSB ZPiezo Wheel input device handwheel (432339-9020-000)
can be connected to the controller using the associated cables. The controller permits quick and
precise focussing in the Z direction on the sample being investigated on the stage attatchment.
In addition the controller can be connected to other system components via the RS232, USB or
CAN port.
Input to the WSB ZPiezo CAN application-related controller can be performed by the
WSB ZPiezo
Wheel handwheel and the “ZEN 2” comput
er software. The user instructions for the
software should be complied with.
