Measurement of contact lenses

In the contact lens measuring mode, only the curvature radii of the
contact lenses to be measured are recorded.
Preparation of measurement
•
Now prepare measurement by performing the following steps:
– Moisten the rear surface of the test eye and insert the contact lens
( 2 , Fig. 1) and insert the contact lens so that its convex side points
downwards to the test eye surface (Fig. 49).

– Remove any chin rest paper so that only the fixation pins are attached
to the chin rest ( 5 , Fig. 4).
– Place the test eye with the contact lens attached in the center of the
chin rest and fix it underneath the fixation pins. Make sure that the
contact lens points towards the measuring head ((Fig. 50).
