1 Friction symbol
Explanation of the braking effect achieved by turning the friction
adjustment knob.
- Turn to the left: braking effect reduced
- Turn to the right: braking effect increased
2 "Risk of crushing" warning label
Fingers may be crushed. Do not touch this area while moving the surgical
microscope or parts of it.
3 Brightness setting
If the light source is switched on, the brightness can be infinitely adjusted
by turning the brightness control button for the fiber illumination:
- Turn to the left: minimum brightness
- Turn to the right: maximum brightness
4 "Maximum load" warning label
The maximum load on the suspension arm must not exceed 7 kg.
5 Balance of suspension arm
After all accessories have been attached to the surgical microscope, this
adjustment screw can be used to set the balance of the suspension arm.
- Turn left: reduce weight
- Turn right: increase weight
