Setting the inclination switch
1)
Loosen screws (

) and adjust the switching cam
in such a way that the inclination switch
switches on the OPMI® illumination at the
required position of the tilting arm, or loosen
screws

) and adjust the microswitch if
necessary.

Tighten screws (

Slide protection flaps (

) correctly in the guiding
grooves of the cover (

) while positioning the
cover.

Mount cover (

Insert OPMI®.

Balance the suspension arm.

Changing the illumination potentiometer
Removal:
1)
Remove OPMI® from the suspension arm.
2)
Set balancing screw to minimum weight (turn ccw).
3)
Remove the locking screw and the top cover from the suspension arm.

Remove cable conduit (

Remove protection flap (

).
6)
Loosen setscrew (
2 Fig. 24
) and push out pin (

).
Note
Hold the two halves of the suspension arm together by hand.
7)
Allow the arm halves to slowly move apart. If necessary, remove the cable leading to the
illumination potentiometer from the clip mounted on the upper half of the arm.
