IMPORTANT INFORMATION
CLEANING INFORMATION
• Make sure the switch on the back of the doll is in the ON position.
• Put the diaper on Baby Annabell®.
Baby Annabell® is just like a real baby! She babbles, laughs, drinks from her bottle and sucks on her
pacifier, makes facial movements and cries real tears!
• Read the instructions carefully and keep them for future reference.
• Constant, competent adult supervision is required when children are playing with water.
• Only use included accessories with the doll, as other accessories may not be compatible with Baby Annabell®.
• Included accessories are toys and are not for use with real babies.
• Always turn the doll OFF after use to preserve battery life. If storing for an extended amount of time, remove the batteries
to prevent battery damage or damage to the unit.
• Keep moisture away from the battery compartment. If water enters the battery compartment, dry with a cloth.
• Completely empty the doll and bottle of water after use and air dry thoroughly before storing.
Clean head, arms, legs and body fabric with a damp cloth. Hand wash doll’s outfit if necessary. Do not bathe the doll
or wash her in the washing machine.
Doll does not react as described.
Doll functions stop working.
Doll does not make sucking sounds with her bottle.
Check that batteries are in the unit and inserted
correctly according to the diagram inside the battery
compartment. Insert fresh batteries if problems persist.
Turn OFF the doll. Remove the batteries, reinsert them,
and move the switch back to the ON position.
Push the bottle a little farther into the doll’s mouth.
Doll does not suck on her pacifier or make sucking sounds.
Doll does not suck on the bottle, water runs out of her
mouth, or there are no smacking sounds.
Water runs out of the doll’s mouth.
Doll does not cry.
Doll has been fed with juice or tea by mistake.
Push the pacifier a little farther into the doll’s mouth.
The bottle must be pressed correctly into the doll’s
mouth, and at the same time, the bottle must be
squeezed gently so that water can run into the doll’s
internal system.
The bottle is not inserted far enough into the doll’s
mouth or the doll has had enough to drink, and her tear
function is now ready.
The bottle is not inserted far enough into the doll’s
mouth. This means the internal system does not have
enough water to ensure proper tear function. The doll’s
tear function works best when she has consumed as little
as 1/4 of the water from the bottle. The included bottle is
the only one that can activate the tear function.
Only use clean water. Feed the doll clean, clear water until
she has cried for awhile and her tears run clear again.
The doll cannot suck water. The water needs to be fed
by fully inserting the bottle into her mouth.
Repeatedly squeeze and release the bottle to help
her drink. This also fills the internal system gradually
to prevent water from running from the doll’s mouth.
• Baby Annabell® sucks on her pacifier with realistic mouth movements and
sucking sounds. She also opens and closes her eyes. If you remove the pacifier,
she goes back to babbling.
• After giving her the pacifier three times, she cries. To calm her down, pat her
back, stroke her cheek, or give her the pacifier again.

Sleep Mode:
Before you begin:
• Remove the cap and nozzle from the bottle and fill it with water. Then,
replace the nozzle.
• Insert the nozzle fully into the doll’s mouth.
• After drinking, Baby Annabell® “burps” when you pat her back! If you do not
pat her back, she cries for awhile and will not burp. After she cries five
times, she automatically goes back to babbling.
IMPORTANT: The doll cannot suck water. The water needs to be fed by fully
inserting the bottle into her mouth. Repeatedly squeeze and release the
bottle to help her drink. This also fills the internal system gradually to
prevent water from running from the doll’s mouth.
• Stroke the doll’s cheek in an upward motion, and she will laugh or sigh.
• While she is upright, she will sigh when you pat her back!
• To make her sleep, make sure she is lying completely horizontally.
• Baby Annabell® cries real tears!
• Rock her in your arms, and she will sigh and yawn or cry once. If she cries, calm
her by stroking her cheek. Then, she will sleep immediately.
• Stroke her cheek while she sleeps and she will sigh and go back to sleep.
• Wake her up by lifting her into the upright position. She will laugh or cry. If she
cries, pat her back or stroke her cheek in the lying position.
• You can also wake her by giving her the pacifier, and she will cry. To calm her,
lift her into the upright position and gently pat her back, or stroke her cheek
while she is lying down.
• Feed Baby Annabell® water from the bottle.
With the diaper on, press the heart on her
belly. She will go potty!
• Always empty the internal system of water
after playing and dry the doll thoroughly.
Ensure no water is left in the doll before storing.
NOTE: Dry out the diaper thoroughly before reusing.
After a few minutes of inactivity, Baby Annabell® will fall asleep, and the speech and movement mechanism will switch off.
When you give her the bottle or pacifier, she will wake up and make sounds again.
The doll can also be activated by moving the switch OFF and back ON again.
