BORES FOR PASSAGE OF EXHAUST PIPE ON
WALL OR ROOF: RECOMMENDED INSTALLA-
TION AND DIAMETER
Once the position of the boiler has been established (par.
2.5.6), a hole must be drilled for passage of the flue gas ex-
haust pipe. This varies according to the type of installation
(and of the exhaust pipe diameter) and on the type of wall or
roof. The insulation material must have mineral origin (rock-
wool, ceramic fibre) with a nominal density exceeding 80 kg/
m3.

INSTALLING THE FLUE GAS OUTLET
There are two ways to connect the flexible pipe to the flue:
Connection at the bottom of the flue:
Connect to the fumes outlet (Ø80) a T joint. Fix it with two
screws. Reach the bottom of the flue with a flexible tube (HT
siliconic or double layer stainless steel) , providing a draught-
proof connection.
Connection at the top of the flue:
Proceed as in the previous case reaching the top of the flue
with the flexible pipe. Make sure the connection is draught-
proof.
IMPORTANT: We recommend having the effi-
ciency and condition of the flue and the compli-
ance with national and local laws for flues
checked by a professional installer.
We also recommend the employement of suitable materials.
The information provided are purely indicative for a correct
installation, ZANTIA is not responsible for the installation.
2.5.8
INSTALLING A COMBUSTION AIR INTAKE
Every solution described allows for the following alternatives:
• Outside air drawn through a duct (inner Ø: 50mm; max.
length 1.5 m) connected to the air intake located on the
rear of the boiler.
• Air drawn directly from the room of installation, provided
that there is an air intake of at least 100 cm² on the wall
communicating with the exterior
In both cases, it is important to periodically verify that the air
passage is not obstructed.
IMPORTANT: This appliance cannot be used in
the event of shared flues.
