If you do not have camera control software it is possible to write your own. An example application for
sending VISCA commands from a Windows PC to the Z3Cam-DX has been provided in APPENDIX C: Example
Camera Controller Application.

ONVIF
Profile S
Z3Cam-DX software is compliant with ONVIF Profile S.

ONVIF is enabled by default. ONVIF Clients should be able to discover the Z3Cam-DX using WS-
Discovery.
(1)
Open your ONVIF client program.
(2)
Use ONVIF device discovery to find the Z3Cam-DX on the network.
Note:
For manual discovery of ONVIF, use the Z3Cam-DX IP address and the port
8080
as shown in the following
URL example: http://192.168.0.120:8080/onvif/device_service

Enter your valid user ID and password.
Note:
If you are logging onto the camera for the first time, the default user ID is

ONVIF
Fixed Profile Support
This section reflects changes for software version 2.36b or newer.
By default, this Z3 device supports 2 fixed profiles for each Camera (Channel), this allows VMS/NVRs' too
see both cameras within a single driver when using ONVIF.
There may be a situation where only one camera is desired to be seen by an ONVIF VMS/NVR. This can be
achieved by going to the
System Setup
tab and clicking on o
Advanced Settings

Device Management
section of the
System Setup
tab.
