5.9 Encoding from other inputs
In addition to HDMI1, the Z3-DM816X-RPS RDK allows encode from a second HDMI channel, two component
inputs, and two composite inputs. To select a source, simply select the desired source from “Video
Source.”
To use HDMI2, simply plug a video source to the HDMI port just below HDMI1.
For Component, the two inputs are to the right of the HDMI ports, with Component1 on the right and
Component2 on the left (see
Figure 12
). When connecting Component to the video source, the mapping
is red->red, white->blue, and yellow->green (see
Figure 13
).
