Remove the cable ties using a wire cutter.
Remove the stem screws and put them aside
(Allen key 4 mm).
Grease the threads of the screws. Put the screws in the handlebar clamps and
attach them to the stem (Allen key 4 mm).
Please make sure the handlebar clamps are
aligned correctly.
Start with the lowermost bolts, torqueing
down the bottom part of the stem clamps ac-
cording to the manufacturer’s specifications.
Take care not to leave a gap here (zero gap).
Only then should you secure the handlebar
with the upper bolts as well.
Make sure the clamp gap of the upper screws
is even and the handlebar is centered and
inserted correctly. The adjustment lines will
help you with this. The torque of the screws
should fit the handlebar and / or stem manu -
facturer's guidelines.
