Cleaning

Instructions for use: preparing to express

Clean and sanitise all other parts of the pump, which come in contact

with breastmilk, prior to first use and after each subsequent use.

1. Disassemble all parts. (See page 8.)

2. Wash in warm soapy water.

3. Rinse well.

4. Submerge parts in a pot of water and boil for 3-5 minutes.

Use a large pot to avoid parts touching sides or bottom of pots.

5. Shake of excess water and air dry on a dedicated rack or

    clean cloth.

A. Before first use:

1. Disassemble all parts. Put away those parts that don’t come in

contact with breastmilk.

2. Rinse remaining parts with cold water to remove breastmilk.

3. Wash in warm soapy water. Valves can be cleaned by gentle

    rubbing between fingers.

4. Rinse well.

5. Shake of excess water and air dry on a dedicated rack or

    clean cloth.

B. After each use:

• Follow cleaning step B1-4.

• Submerge parts in a pot of water and boil for 3-5 minutes. Use a

large pot to avoid parts touching sides or bottom of pots.

• Shake off excess water and air dry on a dedicated rack or clean

   cloth.

How to sanitise:

Insert the valve into the valve

base from underneath. Push

the valve in as far as it will go.

Screw the valve base clockwise onto

the bottle until it is securely fastened.

Place the membrane into the

valve base from above. Make

sure it fits securely around

the rim by pressing down with

your fingers to ensure it seals

completely.

Attach one end of the tubing

to the connection point

on the motor unit and the

other end to the membrane

cap. Press the membrane

cap onto the membrane

until it is securely in place.
