22.5. Electronic Paper Display (EPD) Operating Temperature
Do not use your device in high or low temperatures. When the temperature is lower than 0

C or higher than 50

C, the performance of the electronic paper display is affected.
22.6. Emergency Call
You can use your device for emergency calls without inserting a SIM card. The connection,
however, cannot be guaranteed in all conditions.

Your device may be unexpectedly lost, stolen or damaged. Back up your important data
regularly to avoid losing it and store it in at least two separate places, such as your
device, computer, or write them down.
22.8. About Digital Rights Management (DRM)
Digital Rights Management (DRM) technologies are used to protect the digital content sold
to the customers and prevent the users from copying, modifying, or transferring them.
When using this device, obey all laws including local customs, privacy and legitimate
rights of others and copyrights.
If you open DRM-protected content on your device, you need a license that allows you to
use the content.
1. Make sure your YotaPhone is switched on.
2. If YotaPhone is locked, unlock your YotaPhone.
3. Make sure Airplane mode is switched off.
4. Check for adequate signal strength.
5. On the Home screen, tap

6. Enter the emergency number and then tap
.
7. Make sure to give all the necessary information. End the call only after given
permission to do so.
8. You may also need to insert a micro-SIM card into your YotaPhone. To make an
emergency call when YotaPhone is locked, tap Emergency Call on the Enter Passcode
screen.
