Set the default input method
5. Messaging
Messaging allows you to keep in touch with your friends by sending them text and
multimedia messages.
You can open Messaging directly from the Home screen by tapping
.
To send or receive multimedia messages, you have to switch your Mobile data to on.
5.1. Send a message
1. On the Home screen, tap
> Settings > PERSONAL > Language &input.
2. Tap Default under KEYBOARD &INPUT METHODS and the Choose input method menu
will be displayed.
3. Tap Set up input methods, then select your preferred input method.
4. To adjust the settings for the selected input method, tap
to the right of
it.
1. On the Home screen, tap
.
2. Tap Settings > WIRELESS &NETWORKS and Data usage.
3. Switch Mobile data to on.
If you switch on mobile data, you may be charged due to a large amount of
data transferring.
