Always-on display
The always-on display is an Electronic Paper Display (EPD). Using the always-on display gives you
unique benefits:
The always-on display uses less power, and using it instead of the colour display gives you
longer battery life.
You can use the always-on display even in bright sunshine without straining your eyes.
You can see notifications and other important information without having to pick up the
phone and activate the screen.
The always-on display locks by touching the screen with three or more fingers, or your palm,
pressing the power button, or flipping the phone over and starting to use the colour display.
There is no automatic locking after a time-out.
Use the always-on display
On the always-on display, you can, for example:
See important notifications
Read books, magazines, web articles, PDFs, and office documents
Read social media feeds, and post likes and comments
Read RSS feeds
Read and send emails and text messages
Personalise your phone with your favourite pictures
Show important information, for example an e-ticket, even if the battery is empty
