Initiating A Print-out Remotely
In many installations, especially in the case of outdoor
units, it is difficult to access the Micro Panel to both con-
nect a printer and press the “PRESS TO PRINT” button.
It would be a tremendous asset to be able to locate and

2 switches on the printer must be configured properly.
Remove the paper roll to access these switches. Place
the switches in the following position:
SW1 OFF
SW2 ON
Obtaining A Print-out (At The Panel)
To obtain a print-out, press the “PRESS TO PRINT”
pushbutton on the front of the Micro Panel (Fig. 66).
Using Other Printers
Control codes vary from printer to printer. This will result
in unusual formating of printed data from many printers.
In addition, “handshaking” lines and “handshaking” se-
quence will differ between printers. This makes the equip-
ment susceptable to operation problems or miswiring
which may cause damage to the printer and Micro Logic
Board. YORK assumes no responsibility for assistance
or damge in the use of non-specified printers.
Warranty
YORK assumes no warranty responsibility in the use of
the printer. This includes damages to the printer and the
Micro Logic Board or chiller operation problems that may
result.

initiate a print-out remotely. A simple circuit to achieve
this function is shown in Fig. 67 along with guidelines to
be followed. A BAS option p/n 025-28380-101 is required
to achieve this capability. The length of cable between the
printer and Micro Logic Board must still not exceed 25 ft.
NOTE: S1 should be opened after the print is complete (approx. 90 sec.), while
S2 needs only to be a momentary closed contact. K1 & K2 can be time delay
relays or S1 & S2 can be time delay relay contacts from the control system.
*All relays must be suppressed.
