8.4.2 Cautions for Decorative Panel with Motion Sensor
1. By means of decorative panels with motion sensors, a single wired controller can connect up to
16 indoor units. A decorative panel equipped with a motion sensor is activated even if it is installed
together with a decorative panel without a motion sensor.
2. When the multiple indoor units equipped with a motion sensor are controlled by single wired
controller, then communication cables must connect the indoor units to the wired controller. If not
connected, the indoor units equipped with a motion sensor can not be activated.
3. When two wired controllers are connected, the motion sensor can be set only on the main wired
controller. The sub wired controller just displays information.

4. The outdoor unit model can be controlled by means of a motion sensor kit.
5. Use model P-AP160NAE1 for the decorative panel with motion sensor. The motion sensor cannot
be mounted on the decorative panel without motion sensor P-AP160NA2.
6. The indoor unit must be equipped with the motion sensor function to correspond with the wired
controller.
7. The central controller cannot set the motion sensor function.
8. The decorative panel equipped with a motion sensor cannot be used when it is connected to the
same wired controller as an indoor unit in another refrigerant cycle that is set to simultaneous
operation.
9. The room thermostat function is not available.
